Infertility Friends is India's first support group for infertility. This is a registered charitable trust, run by infertile couples, which aims at providing infertile couples a forum where they can get together to discuss their experiences with each other, and derive strength from their collective experience. Infertility Friends aims at building up a network of couples who can support each other - after all, self help is the best help !

Infertility Friends was started by the Malpani Infertility Clinic, where Dr. Aniruddha and Dr. Anjali Malpani provide state-of-the-art IVF treatment at affordable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. We offer all the newest reproductive techniques, including IVF, ICSI, laser assisted hatching, embryo freezing, egg donation, PGD , embryo biopsy, and blastocyst transfer.

We have been doing IVF since 1981; and perform about 300 IVF cycles every year. You can take a guided tour of the clinic online !

Outlook Magazine ranks Malpani Infertility Clinic among the top five IVF clinics in India.

Our success rates are high and we keep our patients' stress levels low. We believe the best patient is a well-informed one, and the most important person in our clinic is the couple.

Philosophy

We adopt a success-oriented approach towards infertility. This is very different from the traditional medical approach, so it needs to be described in detail.

Many infertile couples want to know - "What is the diagnosis, doctor? Why am I not getting pregnant?" Or "Why did the IVF cycle not work?" However, we feel this is the wrong question - and if you ask the wrong question, you get the wrong answer!

Rather than focusing on what the problem is, we need to focus on the solution - which is a baby! This means that the right question should be "What can we do to maximise our chances of getting pregnant?"

Instead of spending time, money and energy on diagnostic testing, it makes more sense to select treatment options which maximise the chances of getting pregnant. We need to concentrate on treatment paths and action plans, rather than worry about diagnostic labels.

Fortunately, today with IVF technology, we are better at solving problems for infertile couples rather than diagnosing them. This often means that while we may not be able to explain why embryos did not successfully implant after IVF, the chances of success by repeating the treatment cycle remain excellent.

At the Clinic

We strive to provide the best quality medical care, using the latest technology. Our equipment is state of the art and is sourced from all over the world.

For example, our CO2 incubators are Nuaire incubators from USA; our stereozoom and inverted microscopes are from Olympus, Japan, and our ultrasound scanner is from Aloka, Japan. We use IVF catheters from Rocket of London, UK; ICSI pipettes from Cook, Australia; the Saturn laser unit for embryo biopsy from Research Instruments, UK ; IVF culture medium from Vitrolife, Scandinavia; and IVF disposables from Becton Dickinson, USA.

We help the couple to formulate an action-plan which is designed to resolve their problem as cost-effectively as possible, making the most efficient use of time, money and energy.

We keep our unit efficient and patient-friendly. Thus, Dr Anjali Malpani and Dr Aniruddha Malpani provide all the medical care patients need personally - we do not employ junior doctors. Since we provide all our services at a single facility, patients know they will always find us here at all times.
